During own charity golf day, held last month at the Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club, we held a raffle that raised a staggering £1250! As promised by the directors of GPH Datacoms, this total was doubled, enabling a whopping £2500 to be donated to the Tropical Lagoon Children’s ward at Queens Hospital, Romford, Essex. The Head of Fundraising, Chris Stevens, has advised us that this generous contribution will be put towards a ‘Babytherm’, which is a special bed used to keep special care babies warm.

Whilst Ed and Warren were visiting the ward to present the cheque, they bumped into Albert Carley, a talented footballer, who used to play for Tigers FC, the team GPH sponsor. He was more than happy to pose for the pictures, and show off the arrow on his knee!

We would like to thank everyone who made a contribution to the raffle and hope to see you all at next years golf day.
